In a traditional break-fix support model, the service provider is economically incentivized every time there is an infrastructure issue and the provider reaches out and fixes the issue. The higher the skills and qualifications of the professional who is fixing the IT issue, the higher the payout. Conversely, in a fully managed services model, the vendor is financially motivated to provide nominally acceptable services.
